The Cadeleigh Arms
“Seasonal food in remote village pub” - AA Inspector
- Social distancing and safety measures in place
- Follows government and industry guidelines for COVID-19
- Signed up to the AA COVID Confident Charter
We have devised a document that we send to all bookings now. They are made fully aware of all of the measures in place, so that when they arrive it does not seem so daunting. We still want to make dining a wonderful experience. We are only accepting bookings and pre orders to control the number of people and to minimize the contact between ourselves and the customer.
Since taking the reins at the Cadeleigh Arms in 2016 Nick and Tina have turned this country pub into a dining destination with a relaxed, informal atmosphere. The menus lean heavily towards sustainable, local and seasonal produce, and include a seafood and plant-based 'Seagan' version. Pub classics and meat options are also available. In winter, a table near the log burner is the place to enjoy your pint of Exeter Brewery Avocet ale or Sandford Orchard cider.

About The area
With magnificent coastlines, two historic cities and the world-famous Dartmoor National Park, Devon sums up all that is best about the British landscape. For centuries it has been a fashionable and much loved holiday destination – especially south Devon’s glorious English Riviera.
Close to the English Riviera lies Dartmoor, one of the south-west’s most spectacular landscapes. The National Park, which contains Dartmoor, covers 365 square miles and includes many fascinating geological features – isolated granite tors and two summits exceeding 2,000 feet among them.
Not surprisingly, in Dartmoor the walking opportunities are enormous. Cycling in the two National Parks is also extremely popular and there is a good choice of off-road routes taking you to the heart of Dartmoor and Exmoor. Devon’s towns and cities offer stimulating alternatives to the rigours of the countryside.
