* Using a 'swap-in/swap-out' strategy for all kitchenware, bedlinen, duvets, pillows at changeovers to aid the time required to ensure all clean/sanitised. Possible as we have many 'spares' & storage space. * Providing guests with own 'cosmetic bag' of sanitiser, wipes, gloves, mask whilst out & about.

Our Inspector's view

Luxurious...tranquil...beautiful, you'll get a 'Distinctly Dales' luxury experience at a Grade II listed cottage in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Each cottage has its own appeal. The owners here pride themselves on delivering a luxury experience, nothing is too much trouble and no detail overlooked; warming fires, premium toiletries, the best local produce. A local restaurant for that special occasion or a nearby walk can be recommended.

York is a city of immense historical significance. It was capital of the British province under the Romans in AD 71, a Viking settlement in the 10th century, and in the Middle Ages its prosperity depended on the wool trade. Its city walls date from the 14th century and are among the finest in Europe. However, the gothic Minster, built between 1220 and 1470, is York’s crowning glory.
