The Rosette award for this establishment has been suspended due to a change of chef and reassessment will take place in due course. Perched on cliffs overlooking Gerrans Bay, the peaceful and secluded Driftwood hotel is set within seven acres of grounds leading down to a private beach. The coastal views from the open-plan dining room are stunning and the welcome is as warm as the ambience is relaxed. Clothed tables, gleaming glassware and polished cutlery add finesse to the room with its cushioned white wood chairs adding a New England edge. Attentive and friendly staff display impressive knowledge when it comes to the food and the wine list.
