Our Inspector's view

This large hotel offers bedrooms with Italian-marble bathrooms, and all include a hospitality tray, hairdryer, TV, clock radio and an iron with ironing board; superior rooms have wonderful views of the Torridge estuary and Taw Valley, plus rain showers, sofas and luxury toiletries. The fine dining, oak-panelled Olive Tree Restaurant offers dishes based on locally sourced produce.
