Falcon's Nest Hotel
“Family-run pub-hotel with an emphasis on local seafood” - AA Inspector
PORT ERIN, ISLE OF MAN
The Potts family has run the Falcon’s Nest since 1984 and it has become very much a part of life in Port Erin. The magnificent building overlooks a beautiful sheltered harbour and sandy beach, and this waterside location means local seafood dishes dominate the menu in the Victorian-style dining room (once a ballroom). Local ‘queenie’ scallops turn up on the menu alongside a roast of the day; honey-roast Manx ham and many gluten-free options. Head for the saloon bar or the residents’ lounge to sample local ales and over 70 whiskies. A beer festival is held each year in early May.
