Set on the top of an old fort with superb views, this park offers tent-only pitches in a choice of well-sheltered paddocks, including eight fully-equipped, ready-erected tents which are available for hire. There are modern toilet facilities (with powerful showers), a superb children's play area and a newly refurbished and well-stocked shop at this attractive site, which is only 10 minutes from the town, the quay and the nearest beaches. There is easy access to the other islands via the direct boat service from the Hugh Town quay; the campsite owners will transport all luggage and camping equipment to and from the quay. Good food is available in the many hostelries in the main town.
