Our COVID-19 measures:
Longer timescale for cleaning. Tourist information links available rather than hard copy literature Burning disposable cleaning eqpt after each use. Agency staff use Hare Cottage cleaning equipment including vacuum. Comprehensive cleaning kit for guests which adhere to Covid Risk Assessment. Using two vacuum cleaners so they can be alternated between guest stays which are minimum of 3 nights but on average 7 nights. 4 sets of guest linen and towels so they are used 1 in 4 stays. Guest communication via phone call and email rather than meet and greet.

Our Inspector's View

Two beautifully presented en-suite luxury bedrooms, a flat-screen television, WiFi and a log burner feature at Hare Cottage. Fittings are of excellent standard including a Nespresso machine, dishwasher, washing machine and Denby crockery. The ceiling-to-floor windows/doors showcase the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales. Hare Cottage has a pet-safe garden, private parking and a hot tub and there is an excellent village pub.

North Yorkshire, with its two National Parks and two designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is England’s largest county and one of the most rural. Its city walls date from the 14th century and are among the finest in Europe. However, the gothic Minster, built between 1220 and 1470, is York’s crowning glory.
