Our Inspector's view
If only the walls could talk, for Hidden Cottage was once Padstow’s jail. Blinds open to still-winding backstreets, but otherwise it’s very different today, with slate-floored dining spaces, skylights illuminating the country kitchen, a seated patio and all very comfortable – old lags wouldn’t recognise it. The location is ideal for all that Padstow has to offer.
