Killeavy Castle Estate

“A fairy-tale castle, offering a real chance to get away and recharge.” - AA Inspector
NEWRY, COUNTY ARMAGH

Our Inspector's view
Located in a 350 acre estate made up of woods and farm lands, Killeavy Castle was built in the 19th century, but only recently opened as a hotel after massive refurbishment and investment. The original coach house and mill blend seamlessly into the newer locations. Dining is relaxed and much of the provenance comes from the estate and walled gardens. The spa offers an array of treatments while a wealth of outdoor activities are also on offer along with some wonderful walks. The estate also offers self-catering options.

About the area
Discover County Armagh
From its highest point up on Slieve Gullion to its lower extremity at Lough Neagh, County Armagh’s scenery packs a punch. The county claims St Patrick himself as one of its sons – the Irish patron saint was Bishop of Armagh in the fifth century – and calls itself the 'Ecclesiastical Capital of Ireland'. You might also have heard it called 'Orchard County', and you’ll see why when you take your first sip of local cider.
