Manor Farm Holiday Barns

“Six lovingly converted holiday barns close to the Norfolk coast” - VisitEngland Assessor
Holt, Norfolk

Our Inspector's view
Manor Farm Barns is a beautiful complex of 6 superb grade two listed barns which have been lovingly and sympathetically converted to an extremely high standard of self-catering holiday cottage accommodation and have subsequently been awarded the prestigious Visit England 5 Star ratings. Each holiday cottage provides spacious, luxurious and comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation whilst retaining the original features and character of traditional brick and flint Norfolk farm buildings, from which you can enjoy and explore the beautiful North Norfolk countryside. The entire complex has been professionally landscaped to provide a truly unique rural holiday experience. The 6 Holiday Barns, each with their own private garden/patio, are placed within lush, green lawned gardens around a central courtyard with wonderful collections of native plant and tree species and an abundance of wild fauna. Manor Farm Barns Holiday Cottages are nestled in the beautiful North Norfolk village of Lower Bodham which lies on the fringes of the North Norfolk Coast Designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Lower Bodham is situated a short distance away from the popular Georgian Market Town of Holt and within easy reach of stunning coastal towns like Wells-Next-the-Sea, Blakeney and Sheringham. All properties are non-smoking and no pets allowed. Parking is available for all properties. We ask that you respect the area around the barns by parking in our designated car park which you can see in our photos and layout. To drop off and collect luggage, it is possible to park near the entrance door to Hammond, Platford, Tuck and Nichols Barn. Please then move your vehicle to the car park area. Sparks Barn has its own parking area. Access to Pentney Barn is through the courtyard. All bedrooms have Egyptian cotton bedding and white ‘fluffy’ towels are provided. Beach towels are not provided. Travel cot bedding is also not provided. Stair gates, high chairs and travel cots are available at the point of booking. Please contact us asap if any of these have been overlooked so we can make necessary arrangements. All barns have their own washer/dryer machine and ironing facilities and every bedroom has a hairdryer. All properties are ready for you from 4pm on your arrival day and we ask you to vacate the property by 10am on the day of your departure. The Cubitt Family look forward to welcoming you to Manor Farm Barns Holiday Cottages!

About the area
Discover Norfolk
The North Norfolk Coast is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and probably the finest of its kind in Europe. Here you’ll find a string of quaint villages and small towns – Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea and Cley next the Sea are 21st-century favourites, while Sheringham and Cromer are classic examples of a good old-fashioned seaside resort where grand Victorian hotels look out to sea. Further round the coast you'll find Great Yarmouth, one of the most popular resorts in the UK and packed full of amusements, shops and seashore entertainment. And let's not forget Norwich, the region's only city.
Norfolk prides itself on its wealth of historic houses, the most famous being Sandringham, where Her Majesty the Queen and her family spend Christmas. Many of Norfolk’s towns have a particular charm and a strong sense of community. The quiet market towns of Fakenham and Swaffham are prime examples, as well as Thetford, with its popular museum focusing on the TV comedy series Dad’s Army which was filmed in the area.
