Our Inspector's View

The hand-crafted wooden wigwams provide good accommodation, especially for walkers as this site is on the West Highland Way. Available all year, each unit is well insulated, has electric panel heaters and an external wood-burner (wood is available at the Trading Post shop). They are spotlessly clean and well maintained. The wigwams have been grouped in small clusters, some have outstanding mountain views and others benefit from the seclusion of a woodland setting. The lodges, with kitchen, shower and toilet, cater for up to eight, and a small yurt is also available for hire. The surrounding area offers many walking and mountain bike opportunities (bike hire available), and various eateries can be found in Tyndrum, not far away. There is a local bus service at the end of the farm road. The site offers touring pitches as well.
