At a busy intersection in Salford, The Black Friar is something special. Built in 1886, it’s a classic red brick city pub that had been derelict for more than 15 years until it was restored and expanded in 2021. The original pub remains, but now has an added Glass Room, which is the height of modernity in both design and for the cuisine.
