Historically the last coaching inn before reaching Cornwall, The Cornish Arms is run by John and Emma Hooker. Whether inside the cosy modern interior or out in the garden, guests will find a wide-ranging and unpretentious menu of pub favourites, from roast loin of venison, pork belly, parsnip and spiced prune; to blue cheese and walnut tart, soft poached egg and new potatoes. The bar is well stocked with ales including St Austell’s Trelawny and ciders such as Cornish Rattler.
