Beside the gorgeous Kingsbridge Estuary on an old quay, this waterside pub offers glorious views of vessels, wildlife and paddleboarders. More restful is the practice of supping Devonshire beers from the likes of Dartmoor Brewery or an ultra-local farm cider, whilst contemplating the menu of gourmet pizzas created here. The daily menu is equally impressive; local scallops, squash purée, polenta chips and bacon crumb being a case in point.
