A smart and attractive hotel, The Imperial is pleasantly located at the centre of Barnstaple and overlooks the River Taw. Staff are friendly and offer attentive service. The comfortable bedrooms are of various sizes; some have balconies and many enjoy river views. Afternoon tea is available in the lounge, and the appetising cuisine is freshly prepared.
