Our View
In extensive gardens on the old St Ives coach road, with glorious valley views towards Trencrom Hill, this cosy, family-friendly pub and restaurant was built in the 18th century as Lelant Mill. Although it ceased milling in the early 1900s, the old machinery is still in place and the mill stream still turns the original iron waterwheel. Downstairs is the old beamed bar with a wood-burning stove, while upstairs in the open-beamed loft is an atmospheric restaurant where a full menu, including light bites and children’s favourites, is available both at lunchtime and in the evening. You'll find plenty to appeal among the burgers, pub classics, pastas, chargrills and salads; if not, a daily specials board adds to the options. There's a beer festival in June each year.
