This large and award-winning family-friendly museum with 15 galleries is housed in a 19th-century school and the exhibits include a Heathcoat Lace Gallery featuring items from the local lace-making industry. There is also an agricultural section with a collection of farm wagons and implements. Other large exhibits include two waterwheels and a railway locomotive with many GWR items.
