Stay and play with a luxury golfing break this summerFind a golf hotel with the AA's Covid Confident mark
Many of us need a way of switching off and escaping during this pandemic and golf is a sport that can be played safely in the fresh air as social distancing can be managed easily. Golf is known for being a simple and effective way of reducing stress levels whilst getting exercise as you can literally walk for miles. We have included hotels with golf courses in our AA COVID accreditation so you can stay and play with confidence. This week we are putting the spotlight on six of the venues which have already achieved this new AA mark.
Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa
Luton Hoo is a luxury hotel set in more than 1,000 acres of 'Capability' Brown designed parkland and formal gardens. It has an 18-hole, par 73 golf course and the River Lea meandering through it. The centrepiece of this venue is the Grade I listed mansion house that has influences from many famous architects including Robert Adams. After a round of golf, there are three sumptuous lounges where guests can enjoy afternoon tea and pre-dinner drinks as well as two fantastic eating options – The Wernher Restaurant and the Adams Brasserie. The spacious bedrooms and impressive suites combine historic character with modern amenities. You can also relax in the Robert Adams Club House.
