Almond Valley Heritage Trust, West Lothian

Home to a museum, farm and discovery centre, Almond Valley has all the components for a wonderful day of play and adventure. Meet a host of friendly farm animals, explore lots of imaginative play spaces and discover the museum displays and activity spaces.

Beale Park, Berkshire

Beale Park is a traditional family park with a difference. This 350 acre Thames-side adventure hosts 160 wildlife species from all over the world, along with beautiful gardens, a train to ride on and plenty of play areas.

Boulder Hut, Ellesmere Port

This indoor climbing experience offers over 100sqm of climbing for every age and ability. Little ones will love the Boulder Play toddlers’ area, whereas older children will relish the challenge of the Main Walls.

Go Ape Battersea

Explore London’s first ever urban jungle in the greenery of Battersea Park. There’s more to this course than meets the eye – a head for heights is a must for tackling the Treetop Adventure course, Fisherman’s Net and thrilling zip wires.

Howletts Wild Animal Park, Kent

Home to the largest herd of African elephants in Europe, visitors can witness conservation in action at Howletts Wild Animal Park. A unique adventure like no other, Howletts looks after more gorillas, leopards and monkeys than any other zoo in the country.

Millets Farm Centre, Abingdon

With its busy seasonal events calendar, there’s always a great day out to be had at Oxfordshire’s Millets Farm. Meet the goats, pigs and alpacas in the Animal Walkway, run off steam at the Sprouts Play Barn and enjoy a yummy spot of lunch in the Farmhouse Kitchen.
