The AA reveals the most family-friendly hotels
Did you know that London, Devon, North Yorkshire, Cumbria and Gloucestershire are top destinations for family staycations?
At the start of 2020, AA Hotel & Hospitality Services revealed the UK hotspots for family friendly AA-rated hotels, while also recommending its top hotels for families.
Devon comes up for family-friendly hotels
Devon is the county with the most family-friendly hotels outside of London, with 25 hotels offering family-friendly facilities and services such as baby-sitting or listening services (44%), cots (96%), highchairs (96%), children’s menus or portions (96%) and beyond.
North Yorkshire and Cumbria come joint second with 18 hotels each offering family facilities. In North Yorkshire, 100% of family-friendly hotels offer highchairs, while 94% offer cots and child-friendly menus or portions. Meanwhile, at Cumbria’s family-friendly hotels 67% offer highchairs, cots or child-friendly menus.
Completing the top five, Gloucestershire has 16 child-friendly hotels, 88% of which offer highchairs, cots, and child-friendly menus, and 19% of which offer babysitting or listening to give parents a night off.
