Overview
Sherborne Museum features a model of the town's original Norman castle, as well as a fine Victorian doll's house and other domestic and agricultural bygones. There are also items of local geological, natural history and archaeological interest, including Roman material. The Sherborne Missal, one of the greatest medieval manuscripts, can be seen using the latest digital technology. Other highlights include a medieval wall painting, items from the silk, gloving and button industries, and a unique botanical art collection.
