Overview
Housed in two adjacent listed buildings (1687 and 1909), the collections at Rochester's Guildhall Museum cover the human history of the Medway Towns with a strong focus on the role the River Medway has played in shaping the human and environmental development of the area. Key attractions are the ornate 17th-century Guildhall Chamber; the walk through Medway Prison Hulks experience; the Dickens Room, AV theatre and the 'Rochester Riverside Eye' camera interactive.
