A large, family-run free house, the Tudor Arms’ spacious, en suite bedrooms are in a purpose-built lodge. In the 18th century the pub was a local for navvies building the Gloucester-Sharpness Canal alongside. Suggested places to visit are the world-famous Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, half a mile away, Berkeley Castle and the National Waterways Museum at Gloucester Docks.
