The George★★★★
"The modern rooms offer character and comfort in equal measure."
Overview
Recently refurbished to a very high standard, The George blends contemporary comforts with the intrinsic character of its 15th-century coaching inn origins. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very well furnished, comfy and a pleasure to stay in. There's a convivial bar, a high-beamed lounge and a more intimate restaurant heart-warming meals. Makes a great base for walkers on the Thames Path.
