Overview
Rivendale Lodge Retreat is set in a former quarry, and there are lots of places to visit and things to do nearby, including the adjacent Tissington Trail. Natural landscaping includes a wide range of tree varieties as well as indigenous and cultivated pants; there's a large colony of great crested newts in addition to many bird species. The well-spaced lodges are beautifully equipped, with superb, comfortable interiors and all have the benefit of generous decked areas; some also have hot tubs. Further facilities include a well-stocked, licensed shop, a stylish bistro and a bar that benefits from great countryside views. Accommodation includes 72 lodges and two treehouses.
