With swans and punts paddling by on the River Cherwell, it’s no wonder that this Victorian boathouse restaurant is one of the city’s cherished institutions. Waterside tables are at a premium on fine days; inside, the ambience is cosy and humming with the chatter of happy diners tucking into a menu of inventive, modern British ideas.
