Our Inspector's view

A large complex with holiday statics and superb facilities including an indoor fun pool and an outdoor pool. There is a children's club for the over 6s, evening entertainment during high season, a skateboard park, fish and chip shop and a fantastic coffee shop. The touring pitches, occupying 12 fields, are set amid mature trees and shrubs, and some have fully serviced facilities. All amenities are open to the public. This site generates most of its own electricity from a 1.5 megawatt solar farm. The Hendra Pod Village area has 10 smart wooden pods for hire. This park offers the complete holiday package for all, including children of all ages. As well as the beaches at Newquay, there are plenty of attractions in the area.

About the area

Discover Cornwall & Isles of Scilly

Cornwall has just about everything – wild moorland landscapes, glorious river valley scenery, picturesque villages and miles of breathtaking coastline. With more than 80 surfing spots, there are plenty of sporting enthusiasts who also make their way here to enjoy wave-surfing, kite surfing and blokarting.

In recent years, new or restored visitor attractions have attracted even more visitors to the region; the Eden Project is famous for its giant geodesic domes housing exotic plants from different parts of the globe, while nearby the Lost Gardens of Heligan has impressive kitchen gardens and a wildlife hide.
