Lympstone Manor Hotel
“The height of luxury with stunning views.” - AA Inspector
EXMOUTH, DEVON
Our Inspector's view
Lympstone Manor is a Grade II listed Georgian manor with a fascinating history. Thanks to the vision of Michael Caines, it has been transformed into a striking building with breathtaking views over the Exe estuary and the Jurassic Coast. Comfort and quality are delivered throughout the hotel, with a fusion of classic country house and contemporary flair. Elegant and extremely accomplished cuisine is augmented by a significant wine list, underpinning the Lympstone experience. 21 Impressive rooms and suites are luxuriously appointed, and a number have either balconies or terraces with superb views. The latest feature, the Pool House Restaurant & Bar is an informal dining area set around a heated outdoor swimming pool and leisure facilities. Also, the vineyard delivered its first wine, Triassic Pinot Noir 2020. Near the vineyard sit six shepherd huts opened in 2021.

Discover Devon
With magnificent coastlines, two historic cities and the world-famous Dartmoor National Park, Devon sums up all that is best about the British landscape. For centuries it has been a fashionable and much loved holiday destination – especially south Devon’s glorious English Riviera.
Close to the English Riviera lies Dartmoor, one of the south-west’s most spectacular landscapes. The National Park, which contains Dartmoor, covers 365 square miles and includes many fascinating geological features – isolated granite tors and two summits exceeding 2,000 feet among them.
Not surprisingly, in Dartmoor the walking opportunities are enormous. Cycling in the two National Parks is also extremely popular and there is a good choice of off-road routes taking you to the heart of Dartmoor and Exmoor. Devon’s towns and cities offer stimulating alternatives to the rigours of the countryside.
