Open fires and modern artworks bring cossetting warmth to this creeper-clad, stone-built coaching inn standing in open farmland north of Aberdeen. You can be sure of a well-kept pint and no-nonsense food ranging from pub classics to more accomplished dishes based on regionally sourced meat, or Peterhead-landed fish and shellfish.
