The Seafood Restaurant

“Just a great place to enjoy a meal.” - AA Inspector
PADSTOW, CORNWALL

Our Inspector's view
The tiny fishing village of Padstow has plenty of great places to eat but Rick Stein’s flagship restaurant is still top of everyone’s list. Whether it’s the main dining room, the sunny conservatory or the roof terrace, there is an informal and friendly air throughout, with vibrant modern art and seaside hues. If you aren’t tempted by the signature fruits de mer platters, perhaps start with an elegant ragout of turbot and scallops with Vouvray and basil before moving on to a precisely cooked and boned red mullet stuffed with crab meat, chilli and basil, served with chargrilled fennel.
