Our View
It's easy to lose yourself in this small yet enchanting place, just a stone's throw from Newquay, nestled in a peaceful corner of rural Cornwall. This romantic Elizabethan manor house tells a story of prosperous origins, decline, partial ruin, and 20th-century restoration. The peace is occasionally broken by the sounds of people enjoying a game of kayling, a bowling game similar to skittles, which has its roots in the local mining communities.
