Vale of Pickering Caravan Park★★★★★
"Excellent standards of cleanliness across the site, plus easy access in to Pickering and surrounding villages."
Overview
Vale of Pickering is a well-maintained, spacious family park with excellent facilities including a well-stocked shop, immaculate modern toilet facilities, and an interesting woodland walk. A beautifully designed extension to the toilet block houses five family bathrooms and an accessible wet room. Younger children will enjoy the attractive play area, while the large ball sports area will appeal to older ones. There is a well-stocked shop and the café also serves pizza two nights a week. Four tastefully furnished and very well-equipped bell tents are also available for a glamping experience. The park is set in open countryside bounded by hedges, has manicured grassland and stunning seasonal floral displays, and is handy for the North Yorkshire Moors and the attractions of Scarborough.

About the area
North Yorkshire, with its two National Parks and two designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is England’s largest county and one of the most rural. This is prime walking country, from the heather-clad heights of the North York Moors to the limestone country that is so typical of the Yorkshire Dales – a place of contrasts and discoveries, of history and legend.
