A superb building, Wivenhoe House is an 18th-century Grade II listed country house hotel once painted by Constable and set in acres of magnificent parkland. Bedrooms, furnished to a very high standard, are split between the main house and the contemporary garden wing which is also home to the brasserie bar and restaurant and modern conference facilities. Public areas include the lounge and drawing room where guests can enjoy a traditional afternoon tea.
