Dornoch Castle Hotel★★★
"Charming, family-run hospitality from the team."
Overview
Dornoch Castle Hotel is an imposing 16th-century building, with much to commend it. Bedrooms are either in the castle or in a newer wing though all are comfortable and well equipped. Diners are well catered for in the popular restaurant while single-malt lovers cannot fail to be wowed by the award-winning Whisky Bar which stocks over 400 bottles. The Thompson family also have a micro distillery on-site, producing both whisky and their award-winning gin.
