THE PIG-at Combe★★★
"A close-knit team offers genuine hospitality."
Overview
THE PIG at Combe is a mellow, honey-coloured Elizabethan manor set in the beautiful Otter Valley near Honiton. The old garden folly has been semi-restored to create an atmospheric indoor-outdoor bar and dining area with its own wood-fired oven. Comfortable and cosy public areas offer guests charming places to chill out and relax; the informality is infectious here. Bedrooms range in size and are located in the main house as well as former stables and cottages in the grounds. The kitchen's truly local provenance policy is inspiring – the hotel has three walled gardens and what cannot be grown here is sourced within a 25-mile radius. Massage treatments are on offer in the herb and infusions garden area.
