Overview
Dating back to the 16th century, this fascinating inn is something of a mecca for lovers of wine, whisky and local ale – the choices are extensive. Let's not forget the impressive food, much of which is sourced locally including an extensive cheese selection. Bedrooms and bathrooms have been appointed to provide high levels of quality, comfort and individuality. Reassuringly, the bars and lounges remain unchanged with charmingly mismatched furniture, age-darkened beams and an inglenook fireplace.
