Overview
It's worth a detour off the main road to this family-run restaurant with rooms set in the centre of the village. The food in the restaurant has been awarded three AA Rosettes, and the excellent breakfasts are equally memorable. A log burner dominates the restaurant on cooler evenings. Individually designed rooms all come with contemporary Wenge furniture, oversized headboards, chandeliers, decorative cornicing and designer wallpaper. The showcase Thistle Suite features a colour palate of purple, stone and lavender and has an en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath and monsoon shower.
