Scarborough Sea Life Sanctuary

Overview
Made up of three large white pyramids, this impressive marine sanctuary overlooks the white sandy beaches of the North Bay and Peasholm Park. You can see lots of creatures, including otters and penguins, touch crustacea in the rockpool and feed the sharks and rays. There are also five resident common seals at the centre - probably the best chance you’ll have to get up close to these charming North Sea natives. Penguin Island features 22 Humboldt penguins living in a walkthrough area.
