Overview
The Theakston Brewery was first established in 1827 by Robert Theakston and Theakston Ales have been brewed here in Masham, in the foothills of the Yorkshire Dales, ever since. The Brewery Visitor Centre, originally the stables which housed the dray horses, is open daily. Discover how the famous Theakston ales are brewed and witness the brewing methods built on almost two centuries of tradition. Experience the taste and aromas of English hops and malted barley before sampling the beers in the brewery tap.
