Overview
Set in a stunning landscape, Alnwick Castle overlooks the historic market town of Alnwick. Although it was originally built for the Percy family, who have lived here since 1309, -the current Duke and Duchess of Northumberland being the current tenants- the castle is best known as one of the locations that served as Hogwarts School in the Harry Potter movies or Brancaster Castle in the 2014 Downton Abbey Christmas special. The castle is full of art and treasures and there are plenty of activities for all the family.
