Overview
Painted in protective black bitumen, this handsome five-storey windmill to the south of Beverley still grinds wheat to make flour on a weekly basis, and its white sails are a noted landmark for miles around. The Museum of East Riding Rural Life is located in the buildings at its feet. You can buy the flour on the spot, and there’s also a cafe.
