Set within 26 acres of woodland, Wheal Martyn provides a fascinating day out for everyone. The site includes the UK's only China Clay Museum, set within a complete 19th-century clay works. It tells the story of Cornwall's most important present day industry. Key features are Cornwall's largest working water wheel, spectacular views of a wooden working clay pit with monstrous machines at work, nature trails, children's challenge trail, play area, indoor interactive displays, café and gift shop.
