Coldharbour Mill Working Wool Museum
Overview
The picturesque Coldharbour Mill is set in idyllic Devon countryside. It has been producing textiles since 1799 and is now a working museum, still making knitting wools and fabrics on period machinery. With machine demonstrations, a water wheel and steam engines, Coldharbour Mill is a wonderful and very different family day out. There are engines in steam regularly throughout the year plus special events, please see the website for details. The new self-guided tour of the Woollen Mill is available every day.
