Overview
An outstanding 18-acre garden on a promontory bounded by Loch Melfort and the Sound of Jura, climatically favoured by the North Atlantic Drift. It is famous for its rhododendrons, magnolias and azalea species and other rare trees and shrubs. The emphasis is on South American and East Asian plants, including Blue Tibetan poppies, and giant Himalayan lillies.
