Itchen Valley Country Park
Overview
Itchen Valley Country Park has 440 acres of water meadows, woodland and meadows. There is also a Visitor Centre with nature-based displays, a shop and toilets. There are many waymarked trails around the Park, including the Meadows Nature Trail, the Totem Trail and the Play Trail for smaller children. Picnics are encouraged and there are many tables throughout the Park. There are also two permanent barbecue sites, available for hire. The Woodland Nature Reserve is particularly stunning in the Spring when the bluebells are out in the coppiced areas. Although entrance to the Park is free, there is a charge for parking.
