"History comes alive at this restored Norman castle"
Overview
Since 1999, this Norman castle with a 13th-century gatehouse has undergone restoration and repair. Missing floors have been replaced, staircases and the roof fixed, and now visitors can truly see how the castle would have been in the middle ages. There’s plenty to do for both kids and adults, and it’s also an ideal venue for a civil wedding ceremony.
