Overlooking sandy Cresswell Beach, Golden Sands Holiday Park has plenty to keep holidaymakers amused, including a clubhouse/bar, children’s play area, games room, small gym and animal petting area. Newcastle-upon-Tyne is easily reached, while nearer are Morpeth, Ashington and the fishing village of Amble, home to a puffin festival, inspired by the huge colony on Coquet Island offshore.
