Overview
The locals are rather proud of Cromlix’s current owner, who played tennis to the highest level. Sir Andy Murray and his wife Kim have invested wisely, and their team have elevated this historic Scottish hotel to new heights. It can get very busy here, with diners keen to experience the superb wine list and modern Scottish cooking. Expect dishes like duo of rabbit – stuffed saddle, truffled leg terrine, BBQ leek, pickled walnut and truffle jus; and salt-aged St Bride’s duck, poached rhubarb, baked kohlrabi, red chicory and five spice duck jus.
