Overview
Just off Grosvenor Square in the heart of Mayfair, Hélène Darroze at The Connaught is still the star turn at this iconic London hotel. It’s a memorably elegant setting with a great feeling of space, a calming ambience with lights and music nicely judged, stylishly done out with light oak panelling, generously spaced tables, plush carpet and an ornate plasterwork ceiling as a reminder of its 1815 pedigree. This is a world-class experience to savour – standout cooking built on the very best of top-drawer British produce backed by top-class, smooth, knowledgeable and highly professional service. The kitchen has a true grasp of flavours and textures in dishes that pack in a lot of intensity.
