Murano
"Contemporary Italian classics in stylish setting."
Overview
As befits the exclusive Mayfair address, Murano’s dining room comes adorned with elegant trappings, like namesake Murano glass chandeliers, vibrant modern artwork, ceramic accents and bespoke carpet. It’s a light, chic space with soft hues of beige and pink punctuated by stylish seating, while the seamless service is perfectly pitched but not overbearing or stuffy, more friendly and informal. The kitchen is rooted in the heritage of Italian classics that Angela Hartnett cooked with her nonna and her aunts, and dishes have a real identity, authenticity and clarity of flavours. From the flexible carte, choose anywhere between three to six courses (with the kitchen balancing dish sizes accordingly); perhaps Dorset crab tortellini with tomato marmalade and a langoustine velouté to Herdwick lamb paired with aubergine caponata and sheep's milk labneh.
